Evening Prayer: When You Regret Something You Said

Grace after words 🤍🕊️

Dear Friend,

Sometimes one conversation follows us all the way to bed.

🕊️ The Prayer

Father,

I keep replaying words I wish I could take back.
I wish I had been softer.
More patient.
More understanding.
Please forgive me for the ways my words may have caused hurt.

📖Why This Prayer Matters

Healthy regret can lead to growth and reconciliation. Shame only keeps the heart trapped in what has already happened.

I can learn without condemning myself.

📖Bible Story

Peter spoke and acted from fear, later regretting his choices deeply.
