The Prayer Jesus Prayed for You Before You Were Born

See prayer inside

Dear Friends,

Before you took your first breath, before your name was spoken into existence, Jesus prayed for you.

In the third section of His High Priestly Prayer (John 17:20-26), Jesus didn’t just pray for His disciples. He prayed for all who would believe in Him, including you.

Can you imagine it? The Son of God, looking through the veil of time, lifting your name to the Father in love.

His prayer was longer and more detailed than this version, but we bring you a reflection inspired by the heart of His words.

This wasn’t a vague or impersonal prayer. It was a prayer for unity, protection, and purpose. A prayer to ensure you would always know the depth of His love and the joy of being connected to God.

This prayer is a reminder that you were in the heart of Jesus long before you were born. It’s an invitation to step into the relationship He prayed for and experience the fullness of His love.

The Prayer:

The Prayer Jesus Prayed for You

Heavenly Father,

Strengthen Thy servant, {insert your name},
That I may walk in unity with Thee and with others.
Guard me from evil, as Thou hast prayed,
And sanctify me through Thy truth.

As Jesus prayed, may Thy love dwell in me,
That I may know the fullness of joy in Thee.
Help me to live a life that glorifies Thy name,
And draw me closer to Thee each day.

Amen.

Complete Bible Verses to Make it 2x Stronger: John 17:20-26 (KJV) (The Third Section)

"Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.

And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them."
