Heavenly Father,

📖Story of the Day

One man felt deeply indebted to God after narrowly escaping a danger that could have taken his life. He asked his friend what he should do to properly thank God. In response, the friend told him a story.

A man deeply loved a woman and asked her to marry him. But she had very different plans. One day, they were walking together, and at a crosswalk she was almost hit by a car. She survived only because the man acted quickly and pulled her back just in time. She turned to him and said, “Now I’ll marry you.”

“How do you think the man felt in that moment?” the friend asked.

But instead of answering, the man just curled his lips in displeasure.

“See,” the friend said, “maybe you’re making God feel the same way right now.”

📖Why This Prayer Matters

Because we were taught to keep going no matter how much it hurts. To be strong, even when we’re breaking.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Stay aware and stay prayerful,

Mama Raya.
