Mama Raya, I would love to share my story with you because I truly have a personal relationship with God.

Years ago, I was in the hospital on a Friday night, facing surgery. I called my pastor and asked him to pray for me. That Saturday night, I had the most beautiful vision. I saw a waterfall surrounded by tall green trees and lush bushes. Then the Lord stepped out of snow white clouds and stood before me. I asked Him what was happening, and He pointed to the waterfall and said, “The water is the healing of your body, and I am your personal Savior.”

By Tuesday, I was released from the hospital and never needed surgery.

When my husband passed away, I stood outside, lifted my hands to the Lord, and asked what I was going to do because I could not keep up the house alone. In that moment, I felt His hand on my shoulder and heard Him say, “I took care of your husband, and I am going to take care of you.”

That was in April. In October, my daughter and her husband returned from service and were looking for a place to live. I told them, “Why look for a place when I have a three bedroom, two bathroom home where you can have your own privacy?” They accepted my offer.

About a year later, I was just about to sign papers for a reverse mortgage. My son-in-law stopped me at the last moment and told me not to sign. Since then, I have not had to spend one dime on the upkeep of this house.

Another night, I could not sleep. I prayed and said, “Lord, I know I cannot see You, but please let me feel Your spirit.” Later that night, I saw a beautiful sky with snow white clouds floating by. He stepped out with His hands stretched toward me and said, “Take My hands. You are in My hands and you always will be.” Then He pointed to a small warrior with a sword placed in the ground and said, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper.”

I live by my faith, my trust, my patience, and the love of my family. I am very happy in this stage of my life. I am 95 years old.
