📖Story of the Day

It happened that a Christian woman became seriously ill. An ambulance was called, and she was taken to the hospital. The pain was intense, and the medication didn’t help. At night the doctors went home, and only a nurse was on duty. She checked on the girl several times, but there was nothing she could do. The other women in the room couldn’t sleep either, while the girl kept crying out, “Lord! Help me!”

At two in the morning, a doctor and two nurses in white coats entered the room. The doctor approached the girl and asked, “What do you want?” She asked him, “Who are You?” He answered, “You called Me, so I came.” He took her by the hand, and she stood up. The pain immediately disappeared. “It doesn’t hurt now, does it?” He asked. “Nothing hurts!” she replied. The doctor and the two nurses left…

In the morning the doctor came and asked, “How was the night?”
The women said, “Why are you asking her? You came last night.”
The doctor looked confused and said he had been asleep at home all night.

Then the girl’s father, a pastor, arrived, and she told him everything.
He explained that it had been Christ — he had been praying and asking the Lord to heal his daughter. And the Lord came, appearing as a doctor.
